Braille primary schooling, Std. 10 & 12 support.
Primary education through Braille
At Shri Bhartiya Pragnachakshu Gurukul, we follow the state government's guidelines to ensure that blind students receive quality primary education through the Braille system, from 1st to 8th standard.
Our professionally trained teachers specialise in educating visually impaired students using accessible, innovative techniques and a variety of Braille-based educational tools:
- Braille slates — for early writing skills
- Braille arithmetic boards — to simplify mathematics learning
- Braille typewriters — for advanced written communication
- Specialised tactile charts — to teach geography and other visual subjects
This comprehensive approach ensures every blind student receives the same academic foundation and opportunities as their sighted peers — encouraging confidence, independence, and equal growth from the very start of their educational journey.
Classes for Std. 10th & 12th
We are deeply committed to supporting blind students who aspire to pursue higher education, right up to degree level. Education is delivered by qualified, specially trained teachers who understand the unique learning needs of visually impaired students.
To reinforce learning, we provide:
- Audio cassettes and recordings for various subjects
- One-on-one guidance and exam preparation
- Accessible study materials tailored for higher secondary levels
Once students complete their academic training, they are guided to appear as private candidates for Standard 10 (SSC) and Standard 12 (HSC), conducted by the State Education Board — enabling them to move confidently toward college and university.
